Jeffrey Courey

Jeffrey Courey’s values marry business acumen and environmental consciousness. As a speaker, entrepreneur and family man, Jeffrey dreams of a clean, sustainable future where generations to come will thrive.

"It all starts with us!”

In addition to being a member of the Board of Directors at both the American Reusable Textile Association and the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council, Jeffrey Courey is the President and CEO of George Courey Inc., a leading Canadian linen and textile business for over 112 years. George Courey Inc. exclusively manufactures and distributes reusable linens and textiles. The company’s opposition to disposable plastics is also reflected in the partnerships they’ve established over the years with environmentally conscious businesses.

With a Master in Business Administration and 16 years of experience at George Courey Inc., Jeffrey has the knowledge and data to prove that reusable textiles are the only smart environmental and financial decision. Reusable textiles are more profitable and leave a lower carbon footprint. In Jeffrey’s words, “We hope to push disposable players to the fringes of unpopularity with their choice.” He believes that current generations have a moral obligation to leave a better environment for the future.

Jeffrey passionately and relentlessly shares the algebra of simple proportions: 940 disposable gowns can be replaced by 15 reusable gowns. This implies less burden on the environment and less expenses for medical facilities. The upfront “high” costs of reusables quickly pay for themselves and enable companies to achieve profitability seamlessly.
